Ndejje University has reaffirmed its growing reputation in university sports after its badminton team emerged champions in the Universities category at the City Tyres East African Badminton Challenge, defeating Uganda Christian University (UCU) in the final before collecting additional medals in the Professionals category.

The impressive performance saw Ndejje compete against university teams from Uganda and Kenya, underlining the institution’s commitment to sporting excellence and talent development beyond the classroom.

The City Tyres East African Badminton Challenge brought together players from across the region in four categories: Universities, Professionals, International and Nations, providing a competitive platform for athletes to showcase their abilities at different levels.

Ndejje University demonstrated consistency and determination throughout the Universities category, overcoming fellow university teams before facing UCU in the final.
