Kitende are USSSA-Wakiso champions dethroning Buddo Secondary School

Wakiso – In a stunning display of skill and determination, St. Mary’s Kitende  clinched the USSSA-Wakiso championship title, toppling the reigning champions, Buddo Secondary School, in a thrilling match played at WAKISSHA grounds, the home of Uganda Premier League club Wakiso Giants on Sunday, April 14th 2024.

The decisive moment came in the first half when Hassan Mubiru delivered a remarkable strike, setting the tone for St. Mary’s Kitende’s victory.
With the whole stadium electrified with anticipation, the match kicked off with both teams showcasing their prowess on the field.

Buddo Secondary School, known for their formidable defense and strategic play, put up a resilient front. However, St. Mary’s Kitende was determined to rewrite the narrative.

Across all 10 games in the district championship, St. Mary’s Kitende maintained a flawless defensive record, conceding precisely zero goals.
