In an exciting development for Ugandan sports, State Minister for Sports, Peter Ogwang, to lead the Ugandan delegation to the prestigious ISF World School Football Games, set to take place in Dalian, China, from May 17th to 27th, 2024.
With his deep-rooted passion for sports and his unwavering commitment to promoting excellence in athletics, Minister Ogwang’s appointment underscores Uganda’s dedication to fostering talent and showcasing the country’s sporting prowess on the global stage.
As the head of the delegation, Minister Ogwang brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in sports administration and management. His leadership promises to guide the Ugandan team with wisdom, vision, and a relentless pursuit of success.
It should be noted that a total of five schools will represent Uganda at the games with three in boys category namely, Amus college school, Bukedea Comprehensive school and SMACK while two in girls category ; Amus college school and St Noa girls school.
The ISF World School Football Games represent an unparalleled opportunity for Ugandan athletes to compete against the best young football talent from around the world.
Under Minister Ogwang’s guidance, the Ugandan delegation will not only aim for victory on the field but also seek to forge lasting friendships and connections with fellow athletes from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
