We Need Zonal Road Equipment For Kigezi – Kabale District Engineer

Kabale district Transport and works department has decried lack of road equipment which has delayed effective road rehabilitation in the district.

Speaking to our reporter on Thursday  Eng. Januario Bagamuhunda; the Kabale District engineer said that as Kabale district they have no road machines like bulldozers and excavators which has delayed road construction and rehabilitation.

He however asked the government through the ministry of works and transport for intervention.

Ronald Bagamuhunda; the Kabale district youth councilor and secretary for production, marketing and natural resources also appealed to the leaders in Kigezi sub-region to lobby for their home districts.

Meanwhile the Ndorwa East county legislator Wilfred Niwagaba confirmed to have raised this issue on floor of parliament, and they are still waiting for the feedback from higher authorities.
