Uganda Cranes provisional squad for Kuwait friendly announced

Uganda Cranes head coach, Put Paul has summoned a 25-man provisional squad for the international friendly against Kuwait.

Uganda is set to face Kuwait in a game that will be played January 17th, in Cairo, Egypt.

The provisional squad for the encounter summoned is fully composed of players featuring in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

According to communication from Federation of Uganda football associations (FUFA) the team is expected to enter a residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisasi on Thursday, January 11th, and then travel to Egypt four days later.

Defenders; Kenneth Semakula (SC Villa), Gavin Kizito Mugweri (SC Villa), Rashid Okocha (NEC FC), Patrick Bayiga (Maroons FC), Rogers Torach (Vipers SC), Livingstone Mulondo (Vipers SC), Nicholas Mweere (BUL FC) and Hudu Mulikyi (URA FC)

Midfielders; Ronald Ssekiganda (SC Villa), Ashiraf Mugume (KCCA FC), Bright Anukani (Vipers SC), Ramz Kawooya (Express FC), Laban Tibiita (URA FC), Umar Lutalo (SC Villa) and Allan Oyirwoth (MYDA FC).

Forwards; Nelson Senkatuka (Soltilo Bright Stars FC), Alex Kitata (BUL FC), Denis Omedi (Kitara FC), Usama Arafat Kiiza (KCCA FC), Patrick Jonah Kakande (SC Villa) and Muhammad Shaban (KCCA FC).
