St. Mary’s Kitende, Light High School Seguku secure qualification for USSSA Wakiso District football competition

In a thrilling display of skill and determination on the football pitch, St. Mary’s Kitende and Light High School Seguku have emerged triumphant in the USSSA-Kitende zone qualifiers, clinching their spots in the highly anticipated USSSA (Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association) Wakiso District Football Competition.

The road to qualification was fraught with intense competition as schools vied for the coveted opportunity to represent USSSA-Kitende zone  on the football stage.

However, amidst fierce contests and hard-fought battles, St. Mary’s Kitende and Light High School Seguku demonstrated their prowess, earning well-deserved victories and securing their places in the upcoming USSSA-Wakiso district competition.

In the Semi-Final matches at St Mary’s -Stadium, on March, 25th 2024, Light High school beat Kajjansi Progressive 3-1 while St Marys -Kitende walloped Light Academy 7-0 to win slots to USSSA-Wakiso competition.

However the two St Marys-Kitende and Light High School -Seguku will face off on Wednesday, March 27th 2024 the match that will determine who is the champion of USSSA-Kitende zone  at st marys -stadium with kick off at 3pm.

For St. Mary’s Kitende, renowned for its rich tradition of sporting excellence, this qualification is yet another testament to the school’s commitment to athletic achievement.

With a storied history in football and a reputation for producing top-tier talent, St. Mary’s Kitende will undoubtedly be a formidable force to reckon with in the USSSA Wakiso District Football Competition.

Similarly, Light High School Seguku has showcased its footballing prowess, overcoming formidable opponents with skillful play and strategic prowess.

With a blend of talent, teamwork, and determination, Light High School Seguku has earned its place among the USSSA-Kitende’s  zone football elite and is poised to make a strong impression in the upcoming USSSA-Wakiso competition.

As these two schools prepare to represent the USSSA-Kitende zone  on the football stage, anticipation is building among students, alumni, and fans alike.
