Rubanda District Local Government To Implement Gov’t Projects In Second Quarter

Rubanda district is set to implement all the government projects in the second quarter of the financial year 2022/23

This was revealed on Thursday during the  first council session which was chaired by the District Speaker Mrs. Jane Mary Tushemerirwe at the District council hall.

Addressing the council session,the Rubanda District LCV Chairperson Mr.Ampeire Stephen Kasyaba said that due to the shortfall in the current wage across all sectors and departments in government, most projects will commence in the second quarter.

According to the district chairman, some of the projects include elevation of bufundi Health Centre III to Health Centre IV, extension of Bwindi Health Centre III elevation of Muko Health Centre IV to a district hospital, purchase of an ambulance for Muko Health Centre IV, among others.

Kasyaba also highlighted on the construction of Ruhiija seed secondary school will also began in this first quarter.
