Nkoma Registers five teams to represent the Bugisu zone

The Mbale City based school, Nkoma Secondary School  successfully registered five teams to represent Bugisu zone in the forthcoming Nationals championship football Boys and ball games-One  which start this weekend, Saturday, April 27th 2024  in Masaka City and Ndejje  Respectively.

The teams registered are  football Boys, football Girls, Rugby girls, Table Tennis boys and girls,Nkoma Ss last year finished in the 13th position after losing  4-1 to Kibuli in the games played at Core PTC Apollo in Fort Portal at the round of 16.

Nkoma Ss last year participated in two disciplines, football Boys and Rugby, according to the accounting officer of the school, Hajji Kawanguzi Abubakr,they have done this because the school has grown bigger with different talents.

“We can’t just focus on football Boys as other schools do, Nkoma Ss we give a chance to every athlete and we hope to join other disciplines like woodball , volleyball, basketball “, Hajji said .

He added that they only face a challenge of space but if the school had it ,they would be far and he promised to work hand in hand with the stakeholders of the school  to get land which will accommodate these sames.

Nkoma Ss are the Bugisu zone champions football Boys,Rugby girls and also Regional Table Tennis champions boys and girls.By the time we compelled this story Nkoma Ss had started their Journey for National.

The Other  confirmed schools to represent Bugisu are Mbale progressive Ss, Sironko Standard Ss, Highway Sironko
