Amus College School’s football team delivered a stunning performance to secure their place in the Round of 8 at the ISF World Cup in Dalian City, China. The Ugandan side triumphed over Kenya with a decisive 2-0 victory, thanks to early and mid-game goals from Musabbah Hakim and Davis Busuulwa.

The match kicked off with an explosive start as Musabbah Hakim found the back of the net in the very first minute. His quick goal set the tone for the game, putting immediate pressure on the Kenyan team and boosting the morale of the Ugandan side. Hakim’s early strike was a testament to his sharp instincts and readiness, catching the Kenyan defense off guard.

Amus College School maintained their momentum throughout the first half, showcasing solid defense and strategic play.

In the 55th minute, Davis Busuulwa doubled their lead with a well-executed goal, effectively sealing Kenya’s fate. Busuulwa’s goal was a result of precise teamwork and his ability to capitalize on a scoring opportunity, further demonstrating the strength and coordination of the Ugandan team.

Following Amus College School’s impressive 2-0 victory over Kenya in the ISF World Cup in Dalian City, China, head coach Nimrod Kintu shared his thoughts with wallnetnews  on the match and his team’s performance.

The win not only advanced Amus College School to the Round of 8 but also demonstrated the team’s growing prowess on the international stage.

Coach Kintu expressed immense pride in his team’s achievement, emphasizing the significance of the victory against a strong regional rival. “Beating a team from the CECAFA region, especially one as competitive as Kenya, is a huge accomplishment for us. It shows the hard work and dedication of our players and coaching staff,” Kintu remarked.

Kintu highlighted the strategic execution and disciplined play that were key to their success. “From the very start, we wanted to establish control, and Musabbah Hakim’s early goal was crucial in setting the pace. Our defensive unit remained solid throughout, and Davis Busuulwa’s goal in the 55th minute was a perfect example of our ability to capitalize on opportunities,” he explained.

Discussing the preparation leading up to the match, Kintu credited the team’s rigorous training regimen and thorough analysis of their opponents. “We studied Kenya’s playing style extensively and prepared our strategy to counter their strengths.
