Mp kamusiime Supports 9 Couples At Mass Wedding Ceremony

The Rukiga District woman Mp Hon Kamusiime Caroline Muhwezi has supported 9 couples with bridal clothes accompanied with suits at the mass wedding ceremony held at kashansha church of Uganda in Kamwezi Sub County.

The bridal clothes were delivered by her political assistant Mrs. Merab Tumushabe on Friday 5th.

Addressing the congregation, the Rukiga District woman Mp Hon Kamusiime Caroline Muhwezi who doubles as 1st Vice President of the Pan African Parliament Women caucus bureau through her political assistant urged the newly married couples to trust each other and put God first in everything they will be doing.

Kamusiime said that bridal clothes are hired on a free charge from her office in Muhanga trading center.

She also revealed plans of extending the tailoring Training centers in all the sub counties and town councils in the district to empower women with different skills.
The legislature further highlighted plans of starting a carpentry training center in the district to empower the boy child.

Beneficiaries applauded the legislater for the support, most especially where there is rise in commodity purchase.

They said that they have saved alot of money which would be used in purchasing and hiring the expensive bridal clothes.

The archdeacon of Buhangizi archdeaconry Rev Norman Twakiire applauded the legislature for her tremendous support towards the development of Rukiga.

He added that Kamusiime has supported most of the people irrespective of their religion, age and status.
