Rubanda Youths Family and Development Organization an NGO operating in Rubanda district has shown concern on some leaders who are de-campaigning them on the ground to fight poverty in communities.
This was revealed by Mukombozi Johnson the general manager for Rubanda Youths Family and Development organization during the meeting with parish guides, sub-county and Town council coordinators, and the executive which was held in Juna Amagara hall, Kabirizi Trading Center Rubanda Town Council
Speaking to our reporter after the meeting, Mukombozi said that it’s so unfortunate that even though they informed some of the leaders in the district, most of his members were stopped from carrying out their activities while registering community members.
He added that the members had certificates to present in public.
He also assured the public that the organization is fully registered in the district and the government knows, unlike other Non-governmental organizations which come and disappear with people’s money.

Sabiti Ambrose the chief Executive officer of Rubanda Youths Family and Development organization said the organization is going to promote poverty eradication through the six-point strategic plan which includes: a piggery production farm that started operating in August this year and they have already distributed 57 pigs in the community, catering service center, Poultry production farm, Babies Home to rehabilitate needy children with Nursery and primary section, Health center with an Ambulance and avocational center to equip youths with different skills and that this is going to achieve through fundraising and support from other well-wishers
Medard Turanyomwe from the Technical department advised the members to embrace the program first before the community members.
Some of the members Akampurira Alex, and Aharintuma Diana Nalongo, said the politicians affected their work despite them having certificates.
They however attributed this to some of the organizations that came and disappeared after extorting the community.
They further demanded the executive to quicken the operationalization of the office in Rubanda for easy accessibility of the organization.
This organisation started operating on 8th April 2020
