KABALE – Enid Origumisiriza Atuheire, the hopeful Kabale District Woman MP 2026, yesterday called on married couples to prioritize their faith in God in all aspects of their lives.

Origumisiriza made this appeal during the wedding ceremony of Jolly and James, held at Palm Valley Gardens in Mwanjari and the wedding ceremony of Ronald and Mercy Nabaasa at Brazin Forest, both located in Kabale municipality.

Origumisiriza, who is set to run woman MP race in 2026, emphasized the importance of a strong spiritual foundation in maintaining a healthy and successful marriage highlighting the challenges faced by couples in today’s fast-paced and materialistic world.

Stressing that a deep connection with God can provide the necessary guidance and strength to overcome these obstacles saying that Marriage is a sacred institution, and it requires commitment, love, and understanding.

But above all, it requires a strong bond with God. When we put God at the center of our marriages, we invite His blessings and guidance into our lives.

She further encouraged the newlyweds and other couples present to prioritize regular prayer, attending religious services together, and seeking spiritual counsel when needed and by doing so, couples can build a solid foundation for their relationship and navigate the challenges that may arise.
