FDC’s Katonga led faction pays their last tribute to Toka kwabalabala song hit maker

KAMPALA – The Katonga FDC faction led by their interim President also Kampala Lord Mayor Hon. Erias Lukwago, on Wednesday morning together with Political activists and Leaders in various Political formations, hold Prayers and payed their last tribute to their departed comrade Adam Mulwana.

The prayers were held at FDC Offices-Katonga and were attended different political players including outspoken political commentator and Gen. Muhoozi strong supporter Frank Gashumba.

Addressing the mourners, Kampala Lord Mayor, Lukwago said that the contributions of their Comrade Mulwana to the struggle through his music is invaluable and his legacy will live on, adding that every individual should do all they can in sacrifice for the liberation struggle of the Country, without expecting immediate gratification and reward.

Whereas, the former Presidential candidate and FDC’s founding President Dr. Kizza Besigye observed that the Late Mulwana was special and a very intelligent young man, who despite his personal circumstances appreciated the struggle for the betterment of this Country at a very young age.

He further stated the only reward that anyone can give the Late Mulwana and all those that died during the struggle is to remain fighting for what he believed in, otherwise they will have died in vain.

The Late Adam Mulwana a Political activist and artiste, who sang the famous an impactful campaign song ‘TOkA KWA BARA BARA’, was also honoured in a vigil last night at the Uganda National Cultural Center(UNCC), will be laid to rest later this afternoon at Buziranduulu, Luweero District at 2:00pm.
