BIZARE: 11 year old boy chopped into pieces as the suspect was ready to cook him before arrest

Residents of Kyanyanzira village Nyanga parish in Rubare sub-county Ntungamo District were shocked of an incident when a fellow resident identified as Nelson Akandwanaho chopped his nephew into pieces and prepared the pieces for cooking until locals and police landed on him and got arrested.

This incident occured on 14 /01 /2024 at around 1100hrs in Kyanyanzire village Nyanga Parish in Rubare Sub-county. The deceased, Ariiho Patrick m/a aged 11yrs was cut into pieces by Akandwanaho who is said to be his uncle. Aruho was  a pupil of kiyombero primary school in Kyanyanzira cell Nyanga parish in Rubare sub county Ntungamo District.

According to information, It is alleged that on 14/01 /2024 , one Alex got information that the suspect Akandwanaho was in his house cutting the Deceased (Ariiho).

Alex was able to mobilize village mates who stormed the suspect (Akandwanaho)’s house and upon beeping through the door, they found him chopping the deceased feet into pieces.They called him to open but he violently tried to chasse them away until they managed to arrest him.

Upon interrogation, the suspect revealed that some of the body parts were thrown in his toilet and other body parts were thrown in the neighborhood toilet which belongs to the grandfather of the deceased.

Other body parts like the leg, one arm, one foot, and fingers were already cut into pieces and put in a saucepan to be cooked.

Police rushed to the scene and the Suspect was arrested and  escorted to Omungyenyi police post.

A case of Murder by cutting was registered at cps Ntungamo vide CRB 66/2024.  The crime scene was visited by Homicide team from cps Ntungamo and documented by socco. Body was Examined at the scene on PF 48c pending postmortem report.

Allegations indicatet hat the Suspect has history of mental illness which he has lived with for some few months. The suspect was a biological Uncle of the deceased.

It is said that Deceased was staying with his grandparents which is about 400 meters away from the crime scene and that the suspect took advantage that the deceased grandparents had gone to church leaving the deceased alone at home.

Police has put Suspect Akandwanaho Nelson under arrest pending investigations and Inquiries at hand. wallnetnews is to keep you updated with new details as they come in.
