Amus College, Bukedea Comprehensive, Ngora High Schools Qualify for USSSA National Games

Four esteemed schools, Amus College School, Bukedea Comprehensive, Kobulubulu Secondary school, and Ngora High, have demonstrated outstanding performance and secured qualification to participate in the upcoming USSSA National Games in Masaka.

These schools have showcased exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout their journey in the ongoing Uganda secondary schools sports association –Teso zone qualifiers. Their commitment to excellence has earned them a well-deserved place among the nation’s finest competitors.

The USSSA -National Games in Masaka are not only a platform for athletic prowess but also an opportunity for students to foster camaraderie, leadership, and personal growth. Participating in such a prestigious event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, coaches, and supporters from these schools.

It’s the second time in Amus College School, Bukedea Comprehensive School and Ngora High School making their remarkable achievement while it will be the first time Kobulubulu Secondary school to represent the Teso zone at national level.

Despite their commendable efforts and dedication, Teso Progressive, Light Secondary School, Teso College, and Nyero Rock have unfortunately fallen short in their bid to secure qualification for the highly anticipated national tournament.

The journey to the national stage is often fraught with challenges, and these schools have displayed admirable resilience and skill throughout their participation in regional competitions. Although they did not clinch qualification this time, their commitment to sportsmanship and teamwork remains unwavering.

While it’s undoubtedly disappointing to miss out on this opportunity, Teso Progressive, Light Secondary School, Teso College, and Nyero Rock can take pride in their achievements thus far. Their presence in regional tournaments has undoubtedly enriched the sporting landscape and inspired their peers.

Meanwhile, the community extends its support and encouragement to Teso Progressive, Light Secondary School, Teso College, and Nyero Rock as they continue to pursue excellence in sports and academics.
