USSSA set for final inspection of host Schools for National Games 2024

As Schools are in preparations to start district qualifiers of the Uganda secondary schools sports association ball games -one and boys football early next month.

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) is gearing up for the final inspection of host schools on Sunday, February, 25th 2024 ahead of the National Games 2024.

This critical phase in the preparations ensures that host schools meet the necessary standards and requirements to successfully organize and accommodate the prestigious sporting event.

With the USSSA- National Games serving as a pinnacle of secondary school sports in Uganda, the final inspection holds significant importance in ensuring the smooth execution and overall success of the competition.

USSSA officials, alongside relevant stakeholders, will meticulously assess various aspects of the host schools’ readiness, including facilities, accommodations, logistical arrangements, and adherence to competition guidelines.

Host schools, Teso College School (ALOET), Ndejje secondary school and Masaka secondary school have been diligently preparing to showcase their capabilities in hosting the National Games, demonstrating a high level of commitment to excellence in sports management and organization.

The final inspection provides an opportunity for schools to validate their preparations and address any remaining challenges or deficiencies before the commencement of the event.

For USSSA, the final inspection represents a culmination of months of planning, coordination, and collaboration with host schools and relevant authorities.

The association remains steadfast in its commitment to providing student-athletes with a platform to showcase their talents, compete at the highest level, and foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants.
