Excitement and anxiety are palpable among Ugandan football enthusiasts as the Uganda Cranes make their grand return to Mandela National Stadium.

It has been five long years since the Cranes last played at their fortress, Namboole, and this Friday’s, June 7th 2024 match against Botswana in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers marks a highly anticipated homecoming.

For many, the return to Mandela National Stadium is more than just a game; it’s a dream come true.
