Minister Ogwang to grace rescheduled final between Amus College and Kobulubulu Secondary School

The eagerly awaited rescheduled final match between Amus College School  and Kobulubulu Secondary School to decide the champion of USSSA-Teso zone  is set to captivate audiences this weekend on  Sunday, April 14th 2024, at Ngora High School -grounds.

According to the circular  seen by wallnetnews dated April 9th 2024 from USSSA-Teso zone committee and signed by chairman Osuu John Robert, confirmed that the Sports Minister also Ngariam County member of parliament Hon Peter Ogwang, will be in attendance to grace the final.

It should be noted that both finalists teams, Amus College School from Bukedea district  beat hosts Ngora High school by 1-0 while Kobulubulu secondary school from Kaberamaido district knocked out Bukedea Comprehensive school on penalty shoot-outs 8-7 after a goalless draw in normal time in Semi-finals.

The rescheduled final promises to be a spectacle of athleticism and determination as both teams, Amus College school  and Kobulubulu Secondary School, vie for the coveted championship title. Following an intense journey through the tournament, these two teams have emerged as true contenders, showcasing remarkable skill, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Amus College School and Kobulubulu secondary school last met in the 2016 in the Semi-final of the USSSA-Teso zone qualifiers held in Kaberamaido district and Amus college school beat them 1-0, so this weekend come Sunday, April 14th 2024 will be the second time but on finals.
