Kitende, Kawempe Muslim receive USSSA-Competition Kits

Today, on May 15th, 2024, marks a significant moment for Ugandan schools as St. Mary’s Kitende – Boys and Kawempe Muslim School – Girls teams have been presented with USSSA (Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association) competition kits by Emeritus Patrick Okanya.

This generous gesture sets the stage for these talented teams as they prepare to represent Uganda in the upcoming Caf Africa Schools Final Football Competition scheduled to take place in Zanzibar.

The atmosphere was electric as Emeritus Patrick Okanya, a revered figure in Ugandan sports, handed over the competition kits to Ms Viola Kyolaba Grace of St. Mary’s Kitende – Boys and Mr Ayub Khalifan of Kawempe Muslim School – Girls.

Meanwhile, Rev. Can. Duncan Mugumya – Commissioner Physical Education and Sports will on Friday, May 17th 2024 flag off both Schools St Marys-Kitende and Kawempe Muslim School at the National Council of Sports Premises -Lugogo at 10;00am as confirmed by Emeritus Patrick Okanya during the handover Kits.
