In a dramatic turn of events at the ongoing CAF Africa Schools Championship in Zanzibar, St. Mary’s Kitende has been eliminated from the competition. Despite their best efforts, the team could not advance past the group stages, facing stiff competition from their rivals hosts Tanzania and Senegal.
In contrast, Kawempe Muslim Secondary School has made a remarkable impact in the girls’ category. The team has secured their place in the semi-finals after a series of impressive performances.
Kawempe Muslim dominated their matches, beating Togo and The Gambia with identical 2-0 victories with yesterday, Tuesday draw with South Africa.
