Jinja Secondary School (Jinja SS) and Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) are poised to ignite the competitive spirit as they gear up to compete in the USSSA Jinja district school’s qualifiers.

These qualifiers that kick off on March,10th 2024 with screening first on March, 7th 2024, mark the beginning of an exhilarating journey as both schools vie for supremacy and strive to showcase their athletic prowess on the field.

The USSSA district qualifiers serve as a battleground where Jinja SS and Jinja Progressive Academy will lock horns in a series of intense competitions across various sporting disciplines.

With a rich tradition of sports excellence, both schools are determined to leave an indelible mark and clinch victory in their respective events.

Meanwhile in the meeting sitting at St James secondary school released the draws with defending champions of the district, Jinja progressive academy drawn in group A while Jinja secondary school in group H, and if both progresses, they are likely to face off again in finals that will be staged at Kakindu stadium.

Group D; Jinja Comprehensive, Holy Cross, Buwenge Seed, IQRA sec school, Mpumudde Seed and Kiira View

Group E; Lake View, Wairaka College, Nyanza High school Harding Christian School, Jinja Central and Late Comer-2

Group F; St Joseph Sec School, City Parents, St Gonzanga, Hope Community, Bugembe Islamic, Good Heart and Nsaka Secondary School.

Group G; Viva College, NetWork for Hope, Buwenge College, St Stephen Budondo, King of Kings, Masese Seed and St Peters High School

Group H; Jinja sec school, Kakira High, HillSide College, Kiira College Butiiki, Jinja City Sec School, Iziru school and St James sec School
