The head coach of Bukedea Comprehensive School, Ronald Ssali expressed his pride in the team’s performance. “Our students have shown incredible spirit and determination. Winning the bronze medal at the ISF World Cup is a testament to their hard work and the support of everyone at the school. We are extremely proud of what they have achieved.”

The bronze medalists were welcomed back with celebratory cheers and accolades, reflecting the pride of their school and the community.

For Starters, Bukedea Comprehensive School  made an impressive debut at the ISF World Cup, finishing with a prestigious bronze medal.

Competing against 36 schools from around the globe, the team’s outstanding performance  brought pride to Uganda. Gumisiriza Johanas, the head of the delegation,  talking to wallnetnews on arrival at Entebbe  shared his thoughts on this remarkable achievement and what it means for the school and the country.

“Our debut at the ISF World Cup has been an exhilarating experience,” said Gumisiriza Johanas. “Competing on an international stage for the first time, our students demonstrated incredible talent, resilience, and sportsmanship. The level of competition was exceptionally high, but our team rose to the challenge, showcasing their skills and determination. It was a proud moment for Bukedea Comprehensive School and Uganda as a whole.”

Finishing with a bronze medal out of 36 participating schools is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team. “Securing the bronze medal is a significant achievement for us,” Johanas continued. “Our players faced tough opponents, but their perseverance and teamwork led us to victory. This medal is not just a win for our school but for Uganda, highlighting the potential and talent of our students on an international platform.”

Looking ahead, Johanas emphasized the importance of this achievement for future endeavors. “This success at the ISF World Cup has set a strong foundation for our school’s sports program. It has inspired our students and the community, proving that with dedication and support, we can achieve great things. We are already looking forward to future competitions and are committed to continuing this journey of excellence.”

He also expressed gratitude for the support received. “I want to thank the entire school community, parents, and supporters who have been with us every step of the way. We also appreciate the efforts of our coaches and staff who worked tirelessly to prepare our students for this competition.”
