Bombers back from Mandela Boxing championship, UBF president Muhangi impressed with performance

As the Uganda Boxing team returns home from the Mandela Boxing Championship, a wave of jubilation sweeps across the nation, accompanied by a sense of pride and admiration for the team’s remarkable performance on the international stage.

Moses Muhangi, the President of the Uganda Boxing Federation, stands at the forefront, beaming with pride and admiration for the team he’s led with unwavering support and guidance.

“Magnificent! That’s the word that comes to mind when I reflect on our team’s performance at the Mandela Boxing Championship,” President Muhangi exclaims, his voice filled with enthusiasm.

“Our boxers showcased exceptional talent, skill, and determination, proving once again that Uganda is a force to be reckoned with in the world of boxing.”

As he addresses the media and eager fans gathered to welcome the team home at Entebbe International Airport, Tuesday, April 23rd 2024,  Muhangi highlights the significance of the team’s achievements.

“Bringing home medals and accolades from such a prestigious championship is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our athletes and coaches,” he declares. “Their resilience and commitment to excellence have made Uganda proud.”

Muhangi makes a point of praising individual boxers for their outstanding performances, acknowledging the sweat, tears, and countless hours of training that went into their success. “Each member of the team played a crucial role in our triumph,” he says.

“Their passion for the sport, coupled with their unwavering determination, propelled them to victory.”
As the celebrations continue, Muhangi looks ahead with optimism, outlining his vision for the future of Ugandan boxing.

“This is just the beginning,” he asserts. “We will build on this success, invest in our athletes, and continue to raise the bar for boxing excellence in Uganda. With hard work and perseverance, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.”

With President Muhangi’s leadership and the unwavering support of the Uganda Boxing Federation, the future of Ugandan boxing shines bright, fueled by the passion and determination of its athletes and the collective pride of the nation.
