Amus Schools’ basketball coaches hopeful their teams are the dark horse in Eastern USSSA-Fresh dairy qualifiers set to tip-off in Tororo

Amus College Schools’ basketball coaches, Aketch Wuoi Garang and Catherine Ajilong, are imbued with an unwavering belief in their teams’ potential as the Eastern region Uganda secondary schools sports associations (USSSA)-Fresh Dairy qualifiers loom on the horizon, set to tip-off in Tororo.

With the competition drawing near, both coaches have meticulously prepared their squads, instilling in them the virtues of determination, teamwork, and resilience.

As they stand on the cusp of the tournament, Aketch Wuoi Garang and Catherine Ajilong see their boys’ and girls’ teams not just as contenders but as dark horses ready to challenge the established order.

According to the USSSA Circular seen by wallnetnews the Fresh Dairy Secondary schools games (FDSSG) – Basketball boys and girls slots allocation, Eastern region has only two slots meaning the champions qualify to represent the region.

Meanwhile, the Eastern region comprises six zones; Teso, Bukedi (Host), Busoga, Karamonja, Bugisu and Sebei with each represented by two teams both girls and boys
