As schools begin the USSSA online registration for the upcoming Ball Games – Two, Serere District is fully prepared to host the USSSA-Teso Zone qualifiers for 2024.

This eagerly anticipated event will bring together schools from across the region to compete in Volleyball, Basketball 3×3, Netball, Athletics, Handball, and Football U-16.

Serere District has been working diligently to ensure that all facilities and logistics are in place for the smooth execution of the qualifiers. The district’s commitment to providing a top-notch environment for the athletes and spectators alike is evident in the meticulous preparations being undertaken.

The volleyball courts in Serere District are in prime condition, ready to host intense matches where teams will showcase their skills in spiking, setting, and blocking.

Games teacher Sylus Oluka, in a conversation with Wallnetnews, confirmed that his boys are fully prepared to put on an impressive display if they advance past the district level.

“Our team is going to train rigorously, and the boys will be  eager to compete,” Oluka stated. “We have a strong tradition of excellence in sports at Teso College-Aloet, and we aim to uphold that legacy. If we make it past the district level, I am confident that our boys will be ready to give their best performance at the Teso Zone qualifiers.”

Oluka highlighted the various sports in which Teso College-Aloet is set to compete, including Volleyball, Basketball 3×3, Athletics, Handball, and Football U-16. The school’s comprehensive training programs have been tailored to enhance the skills and fitness levels of the athletes, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

Oluka also emphasized the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork, values that Teso College-Aloet instills in its students. “Beyond winning, we want our boys to learn the importance of fair play, discipline, and working together as a team. These are lessons that will serve them well both on and off the field.”
