Kampala – The Uganda National Examinations Board has announced that the release of Primary Leaving Examinations results which was scheduled for Friday January 20th 2023, has been postponed.

The Uganda National Examinations Board Public Relations Officer Jennifer Kalule Musamba told journalists Thursday morning that the new date for the release of PLE will be announced later.

During a press briefing last week, the Executive Director of Uganda National Examinations Board Dr. Dan Odongo said that the making and grading of PLE was completed and they would release the results tomorrow.

However,  Kalule said that before the results are released, UNEB is supposed to brief the Minister of Education and Sports which has not been done as of Thursday 19th January 2022.

Uganda National Examinations Board said that a total of 832,810 candidates sat for the 2022 Primary Leaving Examinations.
