UTB’S CLARE MUGABI AMONG UGANDA’S TOP 50 MARKETEERS

Uganda Tourism Boards chief marketing officer Ms. Clare Nassali Mugabi had been recognised among the top 50 Marketeers in Uganda.

Clare who is currently responsible for UTB`s marketing strategy direction towards making Uganda the number one destination in the region has been at the helm of marketing for only three years.

Prior to UTB, Claire was at Diamond Trust Bank having served in various roles including Business Development Manager, Marketing and Communications Manager, where she served for a period of 3yrs.

She has also worked at Bank of Africa as Manager Marketing and Communications, Finance Trust Bank as Business Development Manager in a couple of 4yrs and made tremendous business shifts during her tenure. She also worked at AMREF as a marketing and Communications Manager for a period of 2 years.

Her deep insight into strategy and past excellent record in corporate governance including marketing are exemplary. She has pioneered key campaigns for marketing Uganda including Take on the pearl, Tulambule Uganda. The latest is the Explore Uganda, the Pearl of Africa a new brand that was launched early this year and was launched at the Dubai Expo late March 2022.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration – BBA, Marketing from Springs University of Colorado, a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK , an MBA from ESAMIN among her various qualifications. Claire has been named together with other Ugandans including; David Balikudembe Uganda marketeers society, Rogers Anguzu Head of Marketing and Communication at New vision, Sandra Arinaitwe Marketing manager at Rocket health, John Paul Okwir MTN’s Sponsorship and events manager among others.
