Three notorious machete-wielding thugs arrested in Kisoro

Kisoro – The police in Kisoro have arrested three notorious thieves that have been robbing people of properties, and recruiting young children into criminal gangs.
During a press briefing at his office on Tuesday, Kisoro Resident District Commissioner Shafiq Ssekandi who is the head of security in the district said that other suspects arrested  include a 17-year old Kwizera Derick known as Ngareba, Nsasenga Richard known as Arsenal 18, and Ngabire Samuel,18 known as Kibudusi.

RDC Ssekandi said that the suspects have confessed that they have been attacking people to get money and other valuables.
Ssekandi added that security is still hunting other accomplices who are still at large.
He asked the magistrates and prosecutors to handle the arrested suspects with due diligence so that they can be punished and serve as examples to others who are involved in heinous acts of attacking people in the district.
On Monday, RDC Ssekandi said that two notorious goons; a one Niringiyimana Nicholas and another only identified as Shaban were arrested over the weekend.
