The  Uganda national netball team (She Cranes) will open their 2024 international campaign against England, Australia and New Zealand over two weekends in London and Leeds in January.
The early season nations series offers the opportunity for a quality challenge against top-rated opponents in the Vitality Netball Nations Cup.

An ever-improving Uganda had their best World Cup finish when placing fifth held in Cape Town, South Africa while Australia beat England in the final of this year’s Netball World Cup and the Silver Ferns finished fourth.
It Should be noted that  Australian Diamonds and the Silver Ferns remain on top of the world rankings with England third and Uganda currently in seventh place.

But, it’s not yet clear if Uganda will really participate in the said competition because on October 25th 2023, National council of sports withdrew certificate of recognition Number NCS/R/15/No 021 from Uganda netball federation.

The first weekend of Vitality Netball Nations Cup matches  from January 21st to 22nd  will be played at OVO Arena Wembley in London before moving to First Direct Arena in Leeds from January 28th to 29 where international netball will be played for the first time.

All the nations have  quality teams and will be going against each other  in this series, each offering varying styles, so it will be an important stepping stone for Uganda.
