The Deputy Resident District Commissioner Kabale Ronald Bakak has warned the great politicians and rich people in Kabale district to stop misleading the LC I Chairpersons to handover their official stamps due to the fact that they recommended wrong Parish Development Model beneficiaries who are above 39% as per guidelines.
Bakak said this yesterday morning in an interview with our reporter in his offices at Kabale district headquarters in Kabale municipality saying that ever since the office of the Resident District Commissioner led by Godfrey Nyakahuma and his deputy Ronald Bakak started the verification exercise of PDM beneficiaries across all district sub-counties, over 20 million Parish Development Model shillings have been recovered from wrong beneficiaries including the same politicians who are confusing the local leaders to handover offices.
He further revealed that their intelligence information indicated that most of the people especially in Ndorwa west illegitimately benefited from this program including people with big bars, politicians, civil servants who do not fall under the 39% saying that so far about 20 million shillings have been recovered.
Bakak however, has asked the chairperson L.C ones not to be tempted by the lies of these politicians whom their intentions are to sabotage government programs saying once the stamp is handed over shall be given to another person who is ready to provide services requesting them to at least always report any issue concerning with Parish Development Model in the respective offices and be handled accordingly.
