Police Warns Public Against Criminality Ahead of New Bishop Consecration

KABALE – As christians prepare for the Consecration of the New Bishop Elect Rev. Gad Akanjuna, police in southwestern District of Kabale, has called upon the public to be security conscious

Gad Akanjuna will be the 6th Bishop of Kigezi Diocese and the concentration ceremony will be held on Sunday 29th May 2022 at Kigezi High primary school playground. A large Number of people both from abroad and the locals are expected to attend.

While addressing Members of the press at Kabale university, Elly Maate the kigezi Region Police spokes said security is on high alert because several things have been going on. He asked the public to be security Conscious and follow the guidelines of the Organizers and the security. Maate vowed to deal with any one who will try to do any criminal act.
