Over Ugx25m Raised For Completion Of Clergy House In Kagunga Church Of Uganda Parish

Kabale – Over 25,060,000/= was raised on Sunday in cash towards the completion of the Reverend’s House   at Kagunga Church of Uganda Parish, Maziba Sub-county, Ndorwa East constituency in Kabale district.

The day’s service was conducted by Rev. Canon Mannashe Turyatunga from Nyabirerema Arch Deaconry Kigezi Diocese.

While delivering his summon to the believers Rev. Turyatunga encouraged the youth to have love for their God and  prayed to the Lord to continue stretching his mighty hand towards the youth, and requested Christians to always raise their children in a Godly manner.

The MP Ndorwa East Constituency Hon. Wilfred Niwagaba who was the guest of honor urged Christians to always thank God for every moment they spend in this earthly life.

He contributed 2.5 Million and pledged to continue supporting the work of  God in the Church.

The thanksgiving ceremony was organized by a business tycoon Mr. Kanyarutokye Jesse and family from Muhanga Rukiga District who also said that he can never get tired of working for the almighty.

“I have been working for God and I can never get tired because I have passed through many ups and downs but by God’s grace, I have managed to be where I am today. To God be the glory,” Kanyarutokye said.

The function was attended by a number of prominent people from different parts of the country who included political leaders from Rukiga District led by the District speaker Hon. Akampurira Oscar among others.
