Over Speeding Sinotruck Crashes 12 Year Old to Death

A fatal road accident has been reported involving motor vehicle reg no. UBK 737Z sino truck Howo maroon in colour and amale juvenile pedestrian Akanyijuka Method 12yrs old and son to Abraham Akankwasa a resident of Rweheye village Kabale district.

This happened yesterday 03/06/2022 at about 1700hrs at Rwagana Kamatozo cell opposite Uganda martyrs university along Kabale Katuna road in Kabale district.

According to police officer Uwimana Herbert attached to Kabale Cps, the truck was on high speed and couldn’t break in time. Body of the child was taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.

Meanwhile the truck UBK 737Z sino truck is currently parked at Kabale Cps yard pending IOV inspection but the driver of the said vehicle is on the run.
