Indian businessman shot dead next to IGG’s office

Kampala – Security has been beefed up following a shooting incident along Parliamentary Avenue in Kampala on the afternoon of Friday 12th May.

The Police has cordoned off the area after an unidentified individual reportedly shot an Indian national inside Raja Chambers.

The motive of the assailant is unclear.

The deceased has been identified as Uttam Bandari, who was the director of TFS Financial services in Kampala, a money lending business.

Road traffic disruptions were felt by motorist on parliamentary avenue as police forces conducted their investigation.

This comes a few days after the shooting in cold blood of Junior Labour Minister Charles Engola by his bodyguard Private Wilson Sabiiti, who also shot himself dead after, and Vlogger Isma Olaxess aka Tusubira Ibrahim who were both gunned down in Kyanja, a Kampala suburb.
