Kampala – Senior presidential advisor on special operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba on wednesday toured Kampala city roads to get a glimpse of the state of the roads.

Gen. Muhoozi first made a stopover at KCCA City Hall offices where he held a brief meeting with KCCA’s executive director Dorothy Kisaka and her engineers concerning the nature of the roads that have become a point of concern to Ugandan motorists.
During the meeting, he was updated on the state of these roads and other projects undertaken by KCCA.

He was later given a guide on the tour of some of the roads around the city.
The General visited roads in the industrial area especially on sixth and seventh street which motorists have been over complaining about.
He showed concern and called for immediate intervention.

Citizens recently took to social media by showing the sorry state of roads with gigantic potholes around Kampala under the hashtag #KampalaPotholesExhibition, which caught the attention of the president that called for immediate action by KCCA and even gave a directive to the Ministry of Finance to release Shs6b to carry out road patching.
