FINANCE TRUST BANK KAPCHORWA MOVES TO NEW HOME

KAPCHORWA—The Finance Trust Bank Kapchorwa branch has moved into its new and spacious premises. This new Spacious home is located  on plot 24 Tingey, Kapchorwa Road and was commissioned on Thursday,  this week.

The colourful event was attended by Sebei Diocese Bishop Rt. Rev.Masaba Paul Kipto, Mr. Fenard Katunda Mukuru, Kapchorwa municipality Town clerk and officiated by Dr.Evelyn Kigozi Kahiigi, Finance Trust Bank Board of Directors chairperson.
Speaking at the function, Dr. Kigozi Kahiigi said the new spacious home Will  help improve commercial banking activities in Kapchorwa by offering quality bank services and other bank  products to its customers. She added that; with the easing up of Covid-19, the bank has taken quick steps to improve it’s services to customers in most of the branches.
Kahiigi explained that,  Kapchorwa branch commenced operations 9 years back and is part of more than 34 different branches countrywide. She added that the main aim of Finance Trust Bank is to revolutionise financial service in the industry.
“Revolutionize the financial services industry by leveraging technology, people and service to broaden the horizon of banking services and providing adequate solutions that are tailored towards meeting customers’ needs” Kahiigi said.  On the same event, the top borrowers and savers were recognized and awarded at the event.

 Finance Trust Bank has been one of the financial services in Uganda since 1984, though at first was  registered as an NGO under ‘Uganda Women’s Finance and Credit Trust Limited’  which later changed ito ‘Uganda Women’s Finance Trust Limited’  in 1997. It has since maintained it’s theme of; ‘putting women first’!
