Christians urged to embrace Government’s wealth creation programs so as to eliminate household poverty

Jacqueline katabazi, an aspiring woman member of parliament for Rubanda district called on Christians to embrace the wealth creation campaigns of the government in order to create jobs and eliminate household poverty.

She made the remarks on Sunday, January 7th 2024, at the celebrations to mark 100 years of Our Lady of Good Shepherd, Rushoroza Catholic Parish in Kabale Municipality.

Jacqueline said that the government has given people more opportunities to engage in that would help them to come out of poverty like PDM and urged people to use this chance and develop themselves.

She on a special note congratulated rushoroza catholic upon reaching 100 years in existence and thanked Bishop Callist Rubaramara for the work well done and called upon him to keep fire burning for the diocese to remain strong.

Jacqueline who was in a company with her husband Deputy Director General Of Internal Security Organization ISO Lt. Col Emmanuel Katabazi contributed Ugx4.5 million towards the rehabilitation of Rushoroza Cathedral.
