The former Rwampara County MP Aspirant and the Director of Ibanda University, Elly Katsigaire has cautioned parents to avoid  extravagance during this Chrisman festive.
Through his Christmas message, Katsigaire urges parents to spend their money sparingly in this Christmas season so that they can save some money that will support their children as they open new term of the next year. He says that most of the parents normally get excited during these days of Christmas they end up spending all the money they had saved and when the time for children going back to school they start regreting  as they are worried about where to get the money  for school fees.
Katsigaire says that next term is very soon beginning and parents should start saving when it’s still early so that by the time schools opens, they should be able to pay school fees.
Holiday makers were also asked to celebrate Christmas festive but they must concentrate on their books. Katsigaire urges holiday makers to be wise in these days and avoid peer groups that can drop them into problems. That they should not engage into sexual malpractices that can put them on risk of HIV /AIDS  or conceive the unwanted pregnancies.
Katsigaire has mentored a number of people from Rwampara, Ibanda and other areas through Education system. He has constructed schools on different levels including tertiary institutions and Universities in Rwampara and Ibanda Districts where he has helped and offered bursaries to vulnerable and other categories of people.
Sources from Rwampa say that Katsigaire is said to have shown interest to bounce back into active politics as he contests for Rwampara County MP seat.
