Bunyoro-Kitata Kingdom Flags Off Bunyoro Province Team

Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom (BKK) has flagged off the Bunyoro Province team that will verse Acholi Province in the return leg of the round of 16 in the FUFA Drum tournament.

The team was flagged off by the BKK Prime Minister Owek. Andrew Byakutaga Ateenyi at BKK offices today.

While addressing players, coaches and managers of the Bunyoro Province team, Owek. Byakutaga underscored the importance of sports in promoting peace, unity, businesses, health and talent development.

On behalf of BKK, he pledged 2 million shillings which will support the team.

The Prime Minister accepted a request by the Bunyoro province Managers to lead the Bunyoro delegation to Gulu for a return leg against Acholi province in the FUFA drum tournament on 13th August 2022.

The Premier invited sports administrators and scouts to actively scout and promote talents of people in Bunyoro who are competing in various sports disciplines.

The Bunyoro Province football team appreciated BKK for the support and hospitality.

The FUFA Drum tournament is played by football stars from 16 provinces in Uganda.
