UPDF Soldier Arrested with Stolen Motorcycle.

Mbarara – Police in Mbarara City Central Division is holding Private Turyasima Allan 25, a UPDF soldier attached to the 1st Battalion Commando Brigade who was found in possession of a stolen motorcycle reg no. UFL 459R in Ntungamo District at Single Line Lodge.

ASP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region Police spokesperson told journalists that the Motorcycle was stolen from Asasire Gilbert 22, a bodaboda rider and a resident of Kibangire Cell, Lyamiyonga Parish, Mwizi sub-county Rwampara District.

Kasasira added that Gilbert was Murdered by Hacking during the robbery on 22rd September 2022 in Rwentondo cell, Kako a ward Mbaray City.

The suspect is at CPS Mbarara to help police in investigations and arrest of the remaining suspects who are still at large.
