The 2022 losing finalists Vipers SC are amongst the six teams that will be in action on match day 3 of this year’s Round of 64 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Bujumbura United FC, Busei FC, Jinja North United FC, Budondo United FC, and Calvary FC are the other five teams that will also be in action on Tuesday.
Startimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers who lost last year’s final to BUL FC will travel to Hoima to face Bujumbura at Kibajwa P/S at 4pm.
It is a special game for the SUPL 3rd placed side in the sense that this will be their head coach Beto Bianchi and his assistant Roberto Martinez’s first game in charge of the Kitende-based outfit.

Bianchi and Martinez who hail from Brazil and Spain respectively succeeded the Brazilian Roberto Oliveira and the Portuguese Marcelo Cardoso.
During their maiden season with the Venoms, Oliveira and Cardoso won the Stanbic Uganda Cup in 2021 before they lost the final in 2022.
Amongst Vipers’ newly recruited players, is striker Karim Ndugwa who knows the Stanbic Uganda Cup quite well having scored a brace for BUL in a 3-1 victory in the final played in Masindi against his current club.
