KCCA-ED Joins Locals in Smart City Sensitisation Campaign

Kampala – Kampala Capital City Authority executive director Ms. Dorothy Kisaka on Saturday joined the residents of Nsooba East community on the Kampala smart city sensitisation campaign.

The event that took place at Nsooba East community Zone Mulago III Parish was initiated by the locals who invited KCCA to join them in their smart city sensitisation engagement efforts.

The event was attended by the area leaders including; councillor, the LC2 chairperson and LC1 chairman. The NRM area chairman was also in attendance together with the regional director Pastor Nicholas Wafula.

KCCA pledged to commence building two toilets in the area to improve sanitation.

The executive director used the same event to sensitise the community on the core pillars of a smart city, and the key tenets of the Parish Development Model (PDM).
