
Kabuga youth development association lauds USAID-ICAN for supporting their project

Kisoro – Kabuga youth in Mugaza parish, Chahi sub-county under their umbrella, Kabuga youth development association have commended USAID-ICAN for supporting them with items worth over Ugx20m. The items include two tents, 6 round tables and 160 plastic chairs.

The donations were delivered to them on Friday by the Kisoro district ICAN coordinator, Sunday Elia at Kabuga trading center. The association deals in decoration, ushering, piggery projects among other activities.
The association chairperson, John Bosco Nirangiye said that the association has been facing challenges of limited materials which have also been hindering its development.
He noted that the donation from ICAN is a big boost and pledged to utilize the items for the betterment of the association.

He commended local leaders that have been at the helm of pushing for the donation to go through for the last one year. He added that the group has now got almost all types of items required to work at any function.
Speaking to Wallnetnews, Kabuga youth development association members expressed gratitude to USAID-ICAN for the donations saying that it will boost their income.
They asked other youth in the district to avoid under looking jobs if they are to have multiple sources of income.
Meanwhile, the Kisoro district ICAN coordinator, Sunday Elia asked the association heads to be strict and ensure that the items donated to them are not sold.
