Ankole District Football Tournament Gets Ugx1.2m Financial Boost

Ntungamo – Centenary Bank western Uganda branches have boosted Ankole district football tournament with one million two hundred thousand shillings (Ugx1.2m). The money was delivered to the organising committee on Friday evening by Mr. Bwambale Edson, on behalf of the bank.

Handing over the money Mr. Bwambale;  the Centenary Bank regional Manager lauded Ankole district football tournament for the good work done in the region. He said that the bank will contribute more funding  in the next edition as one of the potential sponsors to uplift talents in the region.

He further thanked the board that sat and thought of this idea which has gathered over thousands of youth, brought leaders on board and stated if western region can keep this, it will be a good place for scouting raw talents.

Among the branches that contributed to cause includes; Centenary Bank Ishaka, Kabwohe, Ibanda and Mbarara city main whereby each gave out three hundred thousand shillings (Ugx300,000) making a total of Ugx1.2m to support the tournament.

The organising committee also appreciated the support by Centenary Bank to  regional sport activities.
